Case Study: PAL Fitness Education CIC

Our recent mission with a local community interest company supporting adults with long-term health conditions.

Who?

PAL Fitness Education are a community interest company (CIC), whose mission is to support older adults, enabling them to take responsibility for managing long term health conditions.

The team at PAL Fitness does this by raising funding to set up and deliver events within the West Midlands. Sue Bentley, the co-director, has an extensive background in the public sector and specifically in funding.

This was all setup as a result of COVID-19, where adults with long-term health problems were struggling to remain active and engaged with others in their local community.

Since launching, it has been a big hit with not just adults but children too, with some recent success and exposure on BBC Midlands Today.

Life before Infinity Digital

After some great successes in funding and the events, Sue and the team were looking at ways to increase their exposure to the wider community.

After setting up a Facebook page, they were on the right track to increasing awareness of their events but lacked a web presence to show all their upcoming events and describe their mission to their stakeholders through effect messaging.

How Have we helped?

We initially supported by researching and recommending domain names and hosting packages for their new website, which was required to remain secure, affordable and had space to expand as traffic grew.

Once the package for hosting was selected, we then designed the initial concepts for the 1-page landing page style site. After supporting with sourcing content, developing copy, and defining the brand guidelines, we were ready to get the site ready to go live.

As well as helping PAL Fitness with the website launch, we also offered consultancy on various social media and PR strategies in an informal workshop with the two directors. This has now helped them pave the way to building their presence across social media and we were incredibly humbled to be a part of the journey.
